Reminders & Important Dates After school help is being offered for Math & Science - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday until 4pm. Student should come with a note signed by a parent if they are to attend.

Curriculum Focuses Math We are focusing on measurement; including defining and understanding the relationship between capacity and volume. Students will also investigate and learn about the relationship between area of a rectangle and volume of a rectangular prism. Language Students will be focusing on visualizing, inferring and questioning this term for reading. For writing students will be writing working on procedural writing and writing a narrative. Drama Students will be creating their own plays based on natural disasters with a focus on character, sound, voice and movement. Science We are learning about the states of matter and the changes that can occur between the states (physical or reversable changes) as well as chemical change or irreversable change. |
